CFIN does not manage money, does not hold funds, does not give advice and is not a broker. Your account is held by a third-party broker that CFIN does not own or control.

The disclaimer is explicit that performance figures are hypothetical, that past performance does not indicate future results, and that there is no guarantee "you will not lose money — in fact, losses are highly probable". The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with no warranties.

Very. The disclaimer carries the standard ESMA disclosure that between 74–89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs, and warns that trading forex and CFDs on margin carries an extremely high level of risk, that you could sustain a total loss of your invested capital, and that leverage means you may lose more than your initial deposit. Market gaps can carry price straight through a stop-loss.

CFIN does not compensate for losses arising from them.

The disclaimer states that CFIN is not liable for trading losses and "will NOT compensate, reimburse, refund, or cover ANY losses under ANY circumstances whatsoever". It caps total aggregate liability at the licence fees you actually paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

That cap does not remove liability which cannot be excluded under mandatory law — fraud, gross negligence, and death or personal injury caused by negligence — nor your mandatory consumer rights.

Yes, CFIN is invite-only. You cannot register without a valid invitation code from an existing member. Each member's code can invite up to three people, and a code that has reached its limit stops working. When you join you receive your own code to share, and both you and the person who invited you receive a discount.

21 or older. This is a CFIN house rule, not the Belgian age of majority. Your date of birth is collected at registration to verify it, and identity documents may be requested. The privacy policy states that if an underage user is discovered, the account is suspended immediately, the personal data is deleted, a full refund of any payments made is processed, and the user is notified by email.

The software works with a Blueberry Markets Standard account on MetaTrader 5, with leverage set to 1:100. Our software is configured for the Standard book — the instrument names differ between account types, so on any other type it would look for instruments that do not exist there. The account must be funded and verified before the software is activated.

CFIN has no ownership, control, partnership or affiliation with Blueberry Markets or any other broker, and recommending a broker is not an endorsement of that broker's financial stability. Your relationship with the broker is direct.

Yes — the minimum is €5,000. The disclaimer states there is no maximum account size.

The size you declare at registration matters beyond eligibility: it becomes the amount the software actually trades, and it is the starting balance for your first billing period. The disclaimer warns that deliberately misstating it constitutes fraud and may result in immediate termination without refund.

CFIN applies anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing rules and may request identity documents at any time: government photo ID, proof of address less than three months old, source-of-funds documentation, and a tax identification number or equivalent.

The check itself runs through Stripe Identity — a photo ID plus a selfie matched against it. The privacy policy states that the identity documents are held by Stripe Identity under its own policy and that CFIN stores only the verification outcome, not the documents.

No. The software is not available everywhere, and you are responsible for complying with your own jurisdiction's law. The disclaimer restricts countries under international sanctions or embargoes, jurisdictions where forex or algorithmic trading is prohibited, countries where CFIN cannot meet regulatory requirements, and regions designated high-risk for financial crime. It does not publish a country list.

Using a VPN or proxy to get around these restrictions is prohibited, and access from a restricted jurisdiction results in immediate termination without refund.

Your licence fee is 20% of the profit the software makes on your account during the billing period, with a €25 minimum on profitable periods. If the software makes no profit in a period, that period costs you nothing.

The profit it is charged on is the change in your account balance over the period, excluding your own deposits and withdrawals and any trades you flag as manual — so moving your own money in or out never creates a fee.

All CFIN prices are VAT-inclusive. The amount you pay is the total shown; the 21% Belgian VAT is contained within it and is not added on top.

You are only charged on profitable periods, so a losing or flat period costs you nothing to continue. Your account balance still falls with the market, of course — the fee going to zero does not protect your capital.

One exception, at the start: the one-time entry fee you pay to join is never less than €25, even if that first period showed no profit.

A one-day trial licence costs €15 and starts your software immediately. The 24-hour countdown begins the moment the software is activated and runs continuously — it does not pause for weekends or market hours. After it expires there is a 24-hour grace period to pay before the software is deactivated.

If you would rather skip the trial, you can activate immediately during registration and start with a full period.

Payments run through Stripe: credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA and Bancontact. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and CFIN does not store full card details on its own servers.

Licence fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required by mandatory law — which includes your 14-day right of withdrawal as an EU consumer. You can cancel at any time, but there is no refund or credit for an unused portion outside those statutory rights.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Belgian consumer law you may withdraw within 14 calendar days of purchase, without giving a reason. Email info@cfin.be with the subject line "Withdrawal Request", or use the Cancel Licence function in your profile; include your full name, email address and date of purchase. All payments received are reimbursed by the same payment method, no later than 14 days after you inform CFIN. A model withdrawal form is provided in the document.

One caveat worth reading before you activate: by completing registration and payment you explicitly request immediate activation, and the disclaimer states that if the software has been fully utilised during the withdrawal period you may lose the right of withdrawal.

Yes. The disclaimer reserves the right to change licence pricing, terms or features. For material changes to the terms it undertakes to give reasonable prior notice, normally at least 14 days, by email or a notice on the website; the privacy policy commits to at least 30 days' notice of pricing changes in its list of service emails you cannot opt out of. Minor or clarifying changes take effect when posted.

It is the amount you paid the activation fee for on that account — and, importantly, it is what the software trades, not your account balance. Position sizes, the risk allocated to a position, your loss budget and your daily limits are all calculated from it.

No — and the timing is not symmetrical, deliberately. Money deposited after activation does not increase your Activated Capital, and therefore does not increase your position sizes, until the start of the following billing period. Losses and withdrawals work the other way round: if your balance falls below your Activated Capital, the software trades the lower amount from that moment, not from the next period. Activated Capital is described as "a ceiling, never a floor".

On your Activated Capital. Maximum drawdown and daily limits are a percentage of the amount you activated, not of your account balance. The disclaimer gives the consequence directly: a customer who activated a given amount and later deposited ten times more still has the loss budget of the smaller account.

An automatic profit-protection mechanism: a percentage of your trading profits is set aside so it is no longer exposed to new positions. Vaulted money stays in your account and stays yours — it is simply not being traded, which is why your effective trading balance can differ from your total balance. Returns are measured against the effective trading balance. CFIN recommends withdrawing accumulated vault profits at the end of each month.

Yes, and there is no charge for it — it is your account. It is not recommended: manual trades interfere with the algorithm's position management, and the disclaimer states that CFIN accepts no liability for losses arising from manual trading alongside the software. Trades you flag as manual are excluded from the profit the licence fee is calculated on.

A licence covers personal use on a single MT5 trading account. The disclaimer states that the activation fee is payable per connected account and priced on that account's size, and that a second account is a separate activation with its own Activated Capital. Running multiple accounts without separate licences is a breach of the licence restrictions.

You are. The disclaimer states that you retain full and ultimate control at all times, that your MT5 credentials are the revocable authorisation the software runs on, and that you — not CFIN — authorise the software to operate. CFIN holds no discretionary mandate.

Change your MT5 password. The disclaimer states that this immediately revokes the software's access — it is the instant route, and it does not depend on CFIN acting. You can also contact support to have the software disabled.

Note that this is not the same as the dashboard pause, which is scheduled rather than immediate — see the next question.

From the next trading day — not immediately. The disclaimer is explicit: a pause "does not stop trading already under way on the current day and does not close positions that are already open", and it stays in effect until you unpause, which likewise takes effect from the next trading day.

From your dashboard, via Profile › Cancel & close account, or by emailing info@cfin.be. No further fees or invoices accrue after you stop. Because billing is in arrears there is no prepaid period to refund; outside your mandatory statutory rights you remain responsible only for the fee already earned on profit up to the stop date.

Software access is revoked immediately — the API key is deactivated and the trading container stopped — and your encrypted MT5 credentials are erased when your account is fully deleted.

Yes. The disclaimer allows immediate termination or suspension without refund for breach of terms, failed or disputed payment, suspected fraud, false information, technical issues preventing operation, or otherwise for a legitimate business reason on reasonable prior notice. CFIN may also discontinue the software at any time and states it will attempt, but is not obliged, to give notice.

The privacy policy addresses this directly under GDPR Article 22. It discloses that the software opens and closes positions without human intervention when authorised by you, that its decisions directly affect your financial position, and that stop-losses, position-sizing limits and drawdown budgets limit but do not eliminate losses.

Your rights: request human review of any trading decision via support@cfin.be, express your point of view and contest a decision, revoke access at any time by changing your MT5 credentials or contacting your broker, and cancel the licence to stop all automated trading.

Identity and contact details; the outcome of your KYC check; payment and billing information; your MT5 account credentials and trading data; technical and usage data such as IP address, device and login history; and your support correspondence. Your date of birth is collected to verify the age requirement, and your invitation code is collected because registration requires one.

No. The privacy policy states plainly: "We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties." Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service — payments, email delivery, your broker, address verification and hosting — and with legal authorities where required by law.

CFIN commits to responding within 30 days, extendable for complex requests. Erasure does not override data CFIN is legally required to keep, such as tax and AML records.

Personal fields — name, contact details, MT5 login credentials — are deleted or anonymised within 30 days of account closure unless longer retention is legally required. Access is revoked immediately on closure.

What is kept, and why: trading records and financial records for 7 years, invoices and receipts for 7 years under VAT and tax law, and the KYC verification outcome and date for up to 5 years after closure under AML rules. Access logs are kept 90 days, error logs 30 days, and analytics are anonymised after 12 months.

Some of it. The privacy policy names the United States for Stripe (payments) and Resend (email), and Australia for Blueberry Markets, your MT5 broker. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for US processors.

You may ask which countries your data goes to, request a copy of the safeguards, and object to transfers — contact privacy@cfin.be.

Privacy Policy — International Data Transfers

The privacy policy states they are encrypted at rest with Fernet (AES-128-CBC with HMAC-SHA256), and that traffic is protected in transit with TLS 1.3. Your CFIN account password is hashed with scrypt and a per-user salt, never stored in plaintext. The policy is also candid that no system is 100% secure and no absolute guarantee is given.

You can revoke the software's access yourself at any time by changing your MT5 password.

The privacy policy commits to notifying you within 72 hours of discovering a breach, informing the Belgian Data Protection Authority where legally required, providing details of the breach and the data affected, and giving guidance on protecting yourself.

Transactional and service emails cannot be switched off while you hold a licence: account verification, payment confirmations and failures, trading alerts such as loss-limit and margin warnings, security alerts, and notices of changes to the terms or pricing.

Four categories. Essential cookies keep you logged in and carry the CSRF-protection token — these cannot be disabled. Preference cookies remember your currency, language and your cookie choices. Only Stripe, for payments and fraud prevention — two cookies, both classified essential. The Cookie Policy states that CFIN's email, MT5 and geocoding providers set no cookies in your browser, and there are no advertising-network cookies.

The Acceptable Use Policy groups the prohibitions: account abuse (multiple accounts to bypass limits, sharing credentials, false registration details); technical abuse (unauthorised access, reverse engineering, scraping, rate-limit circumvention, malware); intellectual-property breaches (redistributing, reselling or sublicensing the software); financial misconduct (money laundering, fraudulent chargebacks, refund abuse); referral and promo-code abuse; illegal activity; and harassment of staff or other users.

Acceptable Use Policy — Prohibited Uses

Because the trading signals, algorithm parameters and strategy data are treated as legally protected trade secrets under the EU Trade Secrets Directive (2016/943) and the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018. Redistributing, mirroring or replicating the software's trades — free or paid, through a copier service, a social-trading platform, a PAMM or MAM arrangement, or your own script — is prohibited. The documents state that the mechanism does not matter; the reproduction does.

This carries zero tolerance: immediate termination without refund, liquidated damages per incident, injunctive relief and recovery of legal costs. Your confidentiality obligation survives termination indefinitely. The exact amounts and remedies are set out in the documents.

The Acceptable Use Policy sets out a ladder. Minor or first-time violations may get a written warning by email. Repeated or moderate violations, or a pending investigation, may bring a temporary suspension of 7–30 days — during which trading is paused but you keep access to view your data. Severe violations — fraud, hacking, malware, illegal activity, financial misconduct, or any copy-trading breach — bring immediate permanent termination, with access revoked, the software disabled and no refund except as required by law.

Yes, for the specific purpose of detecting signal redistribution. The disclaimer states that CFIN may monitor trading patterns and account activity to detect copy trading, and that by using the service you consent to that monitoring.

By subject: security@cfin.be for hacking attempts, vulnerabilities and unauthorised access; abuse@cfin.be for account abuse, spam and harassment; legal@cfin.be for fraud, money laundering and payment abuse.

Include your contact details, a description, evidence such as screenshots or logs, the date and time, and the account of the alleged violator if you know it. Reports are handled confidentially and your identity is not disclosed to the alleged violator without your consent, except where the law requires it.

Please report vulnerabilities rather than exploring them — exploiting a vulnerability for any purpose is itself a prohibited use.

Acceptable Use Policy — Reporting Violations

Belgian law, including EU consumer protection rules, with the courts of Brussels having exclusive jurisdiction — subject to any mandatory right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live. Disputes start in writing to legal@cfin.be with 30 days allowed for a good-faith resolution.

Your rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Unfair Contract Terms Directive and Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law are preserved, and you keep the right to complain to the FSMA. Where an English version and a translation differ, the English version is the binding text.

For material changes to the terms, the disclaimer undertakes to give reasonable prior notice — normally at least 14 days — by email or a notice on the website, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of each document changes.
