What changed
  • A new public blog on the CFIN website: the CFIN Journal
  • Covers weekly updates, milestones, new features and Project Iris research (the engine was called Project Green when this was written)
  • No action needed — just a new place to read what shipped and why

Updated 11 October 2026. The trading engine described as Project Green here is now called Project Iris. The rename is explained here.

We have launched the CFIN Journal, a new public blog section on the CFIN website where we log what we are building, so members and prospective members no longer have to guess what changed in the product or in the trading engine (then called Project Green, now Project Iris).

What you’ll find here

Expect weekly updates on what shipped, the milestones we reach as the fleet grows, new features as they land in the dashboard, and the research behind how the engine reads the market and manages risk.

Why a journal?

Algorithmic trading is only as trustworthy as it is transparent. Rather than a black box, we want members and prospective members to see the cadence of the work: what changed, why it changed, and what we learned.

What’s next

New posts will land here regularly. Thanks for reading.
