- One master logo family now used on every CFIN surface
- Replaces a mixed set of older, inconsistent logo files
- No action needed; your account and data are unaffected
CFIN has rolled out one master set of logo marks, used everywhere the product shows a brand icon: the favicon in your browser tab, the home-screen app icon if you have added CFIN to your phone, the preview image shown when a CFIN link is shared, and the header on emails and PDF documents like invoices and statements. Previously these surfaces used a mixed set of older logo files that did not quite match each other; this update brings them all into line, so CFIN looks like one product wherever you encounter it.
What changed
One generator now produces every size and format from a single master design, in light and dark variants, so nothing is hand-copied between surfaces any more. The older, mixed set of logo files across different pages has been retired in favour of this single family.
Why it matters
A product should look like one product wherever you encounter it. Having several logo variants floating around made some corners of the site look dated or inconsistent compared to others.
The new mark is designed to read clearly even at very small sizes, like a browser tab icon.
What you need to do
Nothing — you may simply notice the new icon appearing in your browser tab, on shared links, and on new emails and documents. Your account, settings and data are unaffected.
In detail
- The new marks cover the browser-tab favicon, home-screen app icon, social link-preview images, and the header used on emails and PDF documents.
- There are light and dark variants, so the mark reads clearly whichever appearance you are using.
- One generator produces every size and format from a single master design, so nothing is hand-copied between surfaces.
- The older, mixed set of logo files across different pages has been retired in favour of this single family.
One more thing
Because one generator produces every size and format from a single master design, we can add a new surface — a new email template, say — and know its logo will automatically match everywhere else, rather than needing a designer to export a new file by hand each time.
If you are ever unsure whether a link, email or document genuinely came from CFIN, the consistent new mark is one more signal to check alongside the sending address and the content itself.
