Two pairs that move together are really one bet. Iris caps how much of that it will take. A per-currency exposure cap stops correlated bets stacking up, and a directional lock keeps strategies off opposite sides of the same instrument group.

Before a signal becomes an order it has to clear the blocks. New positions pause around high-impact news announcements, and each strategy has session windows in which it will not open a trade. A signal that arrives inside either window is not taken.

A skipped trade is logged exactly like an executed one — every stage that refused a signal writes its reason, so the record shows what the engine did NOT do as well as what it did.

You set the limits it works inside
Iris decides every trade, but not the boundaries. Three settings are yours, each chosen from preset options rather than typed in — and you can change them from your profile whenever you want.

Risk is sized on the effective balance, so vaulting profit keeps your exposure steady rather than letting it snowball. The balance itself is uncapped — nothing stops being vaulted at any level.
