Every 5 seconds Project Iris refreshes a full snapshot of each market it trades — price, spread, volatility and session state — across three desks. This is the raw feed every later stage reasons over; nothing is acted on until it has passed through the whole cycle.

Before any pattern is trusted, the trend has to agree with itself. Project Iris scores every timeframe from M15 up to H4 with ADX (is there a trend?), EMA crossovers (which way?) and time-series momentum (is it accelerating?) — and only takes a side when the higher timeframes line up.

Five independent detectors read the same candles and each casts a vote. Their agreement is the confluence score — one engine firing is noise, four agreeing is a high-quality setup. Project Iris only takes trades above its confluence threshold.

This is the brain of the engine. Two hard vetoes — a high-impact news blackout and the session window for each desk — can block a trade outright. Six soft layers never block; they scale the position up or down by conviction. A clean signal in poor conditions is taken smaller, not skipped.

A passed signal is turned into an exact position. The stop-loss is floored to the market’s own volatility, the trade is refused if the spread is abnormal, and the whole account is bounded by your chosen daily growth cap and a hard drawdown ceiling.
